The Ainsworth Dog Rescue Foundation has been presented with a $50,000 donation from the law firm of Williams, Mason and Frank, stating that it was a gift from one of their clients who asked to remain anonymous. The check was presented to the ADR Foundation’s President, Adam Skylos, last Friday. Mr. Skylos’ father started the Foundation 10 years ago in order to rescue and find good homes for dogs of all breeds, and Adam Skylos is continuing his father’s wonderful legacy.
“This is an immense act of kindness and generosity on the part of the donor,” Adam Skylos stated, when accepting the donation for the Foundation. “As many may be aware, we have an urgent need for additional funds to enable us to keep supporting the overall care of our rescued dogs until they are placed in their forever homes. We also need to expand our facility in order to be able to accommodate as many rescues as possible. This gift is a godsend and could not have come at a better time, since funds are currently at an all-time low. I’m certain I speak for all the many volunteers, who keep this worthy foundation running, in giving heartfelt thanks to the kind donor for such an amazing gift. Whoever you are, God bless you.”
The Ainsworth Dog Rescue Foundation has also recently embarked on a sponsorship program where community members can become supporting members of the Foundation for as little as $5 a month.
